Bo's 1st Haircut

Bo's 1st Haircut

Bo had his 1st Haircut today! He's officially a "BIG BOY"!!! My friend, Lyndsay Thomas cut it at our house. She teaches at the Aveda Institute at Jordan Creek and cuts at the Jordan creek salon too. Her dad, Lon, a good friend of ours held Bo . . . Bo loves Lon. He kept him still! Bo did cry at all . . . It was great! Thanks Lyndsay!!!

Bo's 1st Haircut

Bo's First Haircut

Bo had his first haircut today . . . Lyndsay a friend of ours cut it. She teaches at the Aveda Institute in West Des Moines, and cuts hair at the Aveda salon. Her dad, Lon Thomas, a good friend of ours held Bo. Bo sat so still for it . . . Lyndsay was amazed! I only had to hold his head once for the "ears" portion. It's not a drastic change, but I can tell! sigh:-) Guess that means he's a big boy now "officially"!

We're leaving for the bahamas soon so check back for more great pictures of Bo in the ocean!

Bo in the Snow

Bo really enjoyed getting outside today. It got up in the high 30s today . . . felt sooo warm. We got his sled out and pulled him around the neighborhood. He enjoyed touching the snow and wasn't happy when he had to come inside!

JANUARY 2009

There hasn't been much to do this January! It's been soooo cold here in IA. We've tried to have some fun inside. One thing Bo loves is to "type" on our computers so Aunt Julie got him a keyboard of his very own! Needless to say he's loving it. He also loves getting into the cabinet and shutting the door. He had some friends over recently to play and we've gone to the mall and played in the kiddie land and on the carousel which he absolutely would do nonstop if we let him! Bo can say what, hot, dog, mama, dad, and dada . . . everything he's not suppose to to touch is "hot" . . . :)

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY BO!!!!!

BO HAD A BIG DAY! HE WAS ALL DECKED OUT IN SUPERMAN! HE HAD HIS FRIENDS OVER FOR A BIG PARTY. HE DID SO GOOD EVEN THOUGH HE WAS SUPER TIRED! HE LOVED ALL HIS TOYS . . . HE HAD LOTS OF HELP OPENING GIFTS SINCE HE WASN'T INTERESTED . . . maybe next year! GRANDPA AND GRANDMA NELSON AND UNCLE DALTON CAME UP FROM MISSOURI FOR THE FESTIVITIES WHICH WAS WONDERFUL! HE ALSO TOOK A 3 HR NAP ON SUNDAY! CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S ALREADY ONE. TIME WENT SO FAST. THIS YEAR WATCHING HIM GROW HAS BEEN SUCH A JOY FOR JASON AND I.

Bo loves boxes to climb in or on! He really actually loves the toy that is inside it . . . but, here he is just interested in climbing on it! Cousin Brighton joined in the jumping game too! I think they wore Dad out . . . this is just one of the videos . . . I had taken 4 others of the same thing!
